My background is.... ?

My mother was American, of Irish and Swedish descent. My father is English of West Country and Scottish descent.

I felt/feel farthest from Home.......

When I’m literally disconnected with the earth- in a plane, on a boat. I’ve felt at a great distance from home in places where I’ve felt little connection to the culture or people- Las Vegas, LA etc.

For me, Home is...

Ultimately wherever my family is, tho’ Edinburgh’s always felt like home to me, especially on returning from living elsewhere, when I have a renewed appreciation of what is special about Edinburgh.

I remember as a child........

When I was a child I used to try to fall asleep and dream of flying. As I grew older I began to experience what it is to fall in my sleep. Presently, I’m still trying to fly.
