My background is.... ?

Half Swedish/ half English, brought up in London, Uganda, Edinburgh.. Confused childhood? Not at all - an amazingly stable upbringing considering!

I felt/feel farthest from Home.......

Still living with my husband as we were in the process of separating. Lonely and no warm comfy sofa protecting either of us from the pain.

For me, Home is...

A warm comfy sofa that envelops me, protecting me and those I love from harm. Somewhere I can just be; no pretense; no games. Where it's OK to laugh til I cry, or cry til I laugh again. Freedom.

I remember as a child........

A close school friend and I playing on a stone slab in her garden for hours - it would be our own island or a boat or a house. Imaginations running wild, loads of giggles! We are yet to outgrow that!
